The logical resolution of the display in pixels. This is the resolution reported by the operating system.
The ratio of physical pixels to logical pixels. High-DPI displays (like Retina) typically have a DPR of 2 or higher, meaning each logical pixel consists of 4 or more physical pixels.
The pixel density of the display. Higher DPI means sharper display. Standard displays are around 96 DPI, while high-DPI displays can reach 200 DPI or higher.
