This tool uses black and white contrast patterns to help you test your display's contrast, sharpness, and response time. A high-quality display should show crisp edges on these patterns.

Black should be deep enough and white should be bright enough. Low contrast results in flat, lifeless images.
When quickly switching patterns, you should not see obvious trailing. Ghosting indicates slow display response time.
